Bell’s Blog

I will try again tomorrow

Desktop Free View

I Don’t generally like tags… but I’m afraid of the consequences of disobeying Criz! He might strike me down with thunder and lightning! Haha! Just kidding! No biggie here. It’s nice and simple. So here’s my desktop ^_^ *shy*

No real explanation required, native to tropical Asia and Australia, Hoya subquintuplinervisthe wax plant This is my desktop of the moment. I change it from time to time… normally browse through the pages of National Geographic and see what catches my mood at the time. Desktop generally changes every month or so. Too often you say? Fickle minded you say? Say what you want. Hubby’s desktop changed every few minutes! But he’s got something called DesktopTopia installed that automatically changes your desktop from time to time.

Anyhow!!! I will now tag 5 friends… Do I even have 5 friends to tag? Haha! We’ll see… here goes… Geneoga, Daphne, Jessica, Vingie and erm… see (run out of friends already!) Dexter. Tags are for fun, don’t have to feel obligated to do it ok? ^_^

Nervous how Criz is gonna “interpret” these desktops…

My Desktop Free View Instruction:

A. Upon receiving this tag, immediately perform a screen capture of your desktop. It is best that no icons be deleted before the screen capture so as to add to the element of fun.
You can do a screen capture by:

[1] Going to your desktop and pressing the Print Scrn key (located on the right side of the F12 key).

[2] Open a graphics program (like Picture Manager, Paint, or Photoshop) and do a Paste (CTRL + V).

[3] If you wish, you can “edit” the image, before saving it.

B. Post the picture in your blog. You can also give a short explanation on the look of your desktop just below it if you want. You can explain why you preferred such look or why is it full of icons. Things like that.

C. Tag five of your friends and ask them to give you a Free View of their desktop as well.

D. Add your name to this list of Free Viewers with a link pointing directly to your Desktop Free View post to promote it to succeeding participants.

List of those who participated in the tag and place your link below:

  1. This is cool…I love nature and if only I can get a pot of that for my Mum. She loves anything that flowers. You sure that is real? It’s really very waxy looking. somehow, it reminded me of star fruits.

By the way, why all the nervousness and shooting with SCUD missiles or even thunder and lightning? I’m no God and I’m anti-war and violence here too.. haha. Nicely done Bell. You are so sporting 🙂

  2. Bell

That plant is real… we used to have it at home in M’sia, and it really does look like that. That cluster of flowers is only about 5 – 6 cm in diameter, so imagine how tiny the flowers are like? I think it’s probably related in some way to orchids?

Edited to add… it’s not related to orchids. it’s some vine plant.
